Great food paired with good company

My children and I had a great time during the U Street Food Tour hosted by Mary and Jason. My children and I had some time to spare during our flight layover in DC, so I researched activities we could do during our brief time in DC. Mary was very responsive to my e-mails before I booked the tour, and she answered all of my questions. The tour was great! Jason was very knowledgeable about the history of U Street and its food scene. The food selections we tasted were great, and the samples were plentiful. My family and I will not hesitate to book future food tours with Blue Fern Travel if we are in the DC area again.

An absolute must in DC

Amazing! Book this and I guarantee that you will not be disappointed....Do not eat breakfast before your go! That will be your breakfast, lunch, and probably your dinner. Besides the food, the culture, history, and street art portion was eye-opening, insightful, and inspiring. Wear your walking shoes and get ready to fill up with food and knowledge!

Do this tour for something different and delicious

Mary was such a great guide. There is so much history in the U Street area and it was just wonderful to taste a part of that. Mary was such a delight. Wonderful personality. Knowledgeable and Funny yet chill and warming. The food was great. Such a variety of different tastes. Everyone in the group had a different favorite dish. I recommend this for anyone looking to get a different view of the city than the usual monuments and memorials.
